Posted: August 23, 2009 in Fibromyalgia, Health

What is Fibromyalgia?  Have you even heard about Fibromyalgia?  Does Fibromyalgia exist?

Over the years there has been much controversy about Fibromyalgia.  Does it exist, is it real, do all of us who have pain suffer from the fibromyalgia syndrome?   According to many researchers there is much evidence that the Fibromyalgia syndrome is real, does exist,  and not just in the head of those who suffer from this syndrome.

Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition causing pain, stiffness, and tenderness of the muscles, tendons, and joints. Fibromyalgia is also characterized by restless sleep, awakening feeling tired, fatigue, anxiety, depression, and disturbances in bowel function.  (as defined on MedicineNet.com)

I have been the Fibromyalgia sufferer for several years. Annoying pain, especially in my hands, shoulders and legs, had been unpredictable and frustrated me day and night. This pain concentrated in firm little knots all over my muscle tissue, which I could actually feel with my fingers.
I even forgot what a good night sleep feels like without a sleeping and pain-reliving pills.
Recently I found all natural solution by using “Natural Body and Joints Rejuvenation Crème” by http://www.MarinaKodi.com. It smells and feels very pleasant not like a body rub.
It does reduce my pain. Now, when I get up in the morning I am full of energy again.
It is a wonderful all natural remedy.

I have Fibromyalgia. It was a very long time diagnosing (every test imaginable) The people I have met with it wish they didn’t have it and the people who don’t have it have a very hard time understanding it. Is it in our head? No! Its in our bodies! Great post!

I have had FMS for around 10 years, I have no doubt that it exists. Sadly there is a lack of understanding in society of unseen disabilites. Aly

  7. I have just been diagnosed, last week actually, and rather than give me relief that I now have a “label” the knowledge is doing my head in. Liked the article and the links I went to from that page.

Thank you for stopping in and reading the piece fibromyalgia. I admit I was not aware of this syndrome until brought to my attention by a cousin. I now understand and am happy to post on my sight for awareness. I would love for you write a piece on my blog and I would be more than glad to share it on my Facebook and Twitter accounts. I believe through more awareness, the more understanding there will be. Thanks Again… Art

Thanks for writing about Fibromyalgia! I was diagnosed two years ago and it has changed my life. I have gone into complete survival mode in order to cope with being a single parent, an art teacher, and a fibro sufferer. We need to continue increasing awareness for this illness in hopes that doctors, scientists and drug companies will begin to take our complaints seriously. We need a cure, not another anti-depressant in disguise to provide us with side effects that are as bad as the fibro symptoms!

Thank you for dropping by my website. I was not aware of Fibromyalgia until it was brought to my attention by a dear cousin of mine. I have since read much about it and understand what sufferers of Fibro are up against. If you ever feel like you’d like share your story I would love to publish it on my blog.

      Thanks,

      Art
